Origin of coffee: The Dumerso washing station, owned by the Birhanu family is an example of social and ecological commitment. They collaborate with more than 700 local farmers and employ over 400 people during harvest season, of which 95% are women, thus encouraging inclusion and autonomy in local communities.
Different varieties of Arabica beans are cultivated on small lots using sustainable methods. The beans are also treated ethically, carefully pre-fermented and dried on raised beds during 4 to 6 weeks, resulting in high quality coffee while still respecting the environment.
